Well, I went and talked to our new band teacher and it went pretty well. He gave me to choose between four options, I could play in pit, be a drum major and conduct, convince him to let me march saxophone, or learn a whole entire new instrument (baritone). So I asked if I could get to take home a baritone so I could practice on it and I did, played an hour on it and thought the rest of the day what I should do. I crossed off conducting cause I want to march, crossed off pit because I want to march, so it was down to saxophone or baritone. New Season

Welp our new marching season is coming up soon, with our seniors graduated and our brand new music going to be handed out next week, its kind of exciting and kind of scary. I am looking forward to the new season but also not in a way. We are in need of more percussionist if we are going to have a battery, so far we have two tenors, three snares, and only two basses. Then the pit is in need of a vibe player so yeah. Our low brass kind of scares me too because we might only have four baritones, and the low brass are going to have a huge effect on the show this year so yikes! Our woodwinds grew in numbers though, we went from two flutes to five,

I can't believe that I haven't noticed that i haven't puy anything up that happened at our winter concert...(facepalms). Well it went really good i think. On my part it went good. My solos at the end of two of are peices sounded alright to me. But who knows, secretley my band director is planning on giving me away to aliens because i didn't play it perfectley to him. (My creative imagination I have.) Anyways our little sixth graders sounder really good for being, well, sixth greaders.
